Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist eine kritische Auseinandersetzung mit der Ausbildungssituation von ErzieherInnen unter dem besonderen Aspekt der Partizipation von SchülerInnen in der Fachschule für Sozialpädagogik und im Gegenzug mit dem Anspruch und der Wirklichkeit von Partizipation von Kindern im Kindergarten. Mangelnde Partizipationsmöglichkeiten von Heranwachsenden werden als Ursache für die vielbeklagte politische Apathie angegeben, aber auch – und das ist vielleicht noch bedeutender – als Grund für ein wachsendes Gefühl der Minderwertigkeit von Kindern und Jugendlichen. Damit lautet die zentrale Fragestellung dieser Arbeit, welche professionellen Kompetenzen brauchen ErzieherInnen, um den Ansprüchen und Forderungen der Mitbestimmungsmöglichkeiten von Kindern gerecht zu werden.
Im Laufe der Arbeit wurde die folgende those herausgearbeitet:
ErzieherInnen, die ein stabiles professionelles Selbst besitzen, die eigene Erfahrungen im selbstbestimmten Lernen machen durften, werden Partizipation von Kindern (in Zukunft) unterstützten.
In der von mir durchgeführten empirischen Untersuchung zeigte sich jedoch, dass in der Wirklichkeit eher Fremdbestimmung existiert, so dass sich die Frage stellt, ob ein Zusammenhang zwischen fremdbestimmter Ausbildung und fremdbestimmten Kindern besteht? Hierauf aufbauend wurde ein neuartiger Entwurf zur selbstbestimmten und mitbestimmungsgerechten Ausbildung in der Fachschule für Sozialpädagogik entwickelt.
